Meet the founders
Aron Kroes and Merette Uiterwaal began working together in 2020, initially through a shared exhibition. What started as a collaboration quickly grew into something bigger: the creation of Studio UK. With a mutual passion for curating meaningful exhibitions, they shifted their focus from presenting their own work to building a platform that supports other artists.
Since then, Studio UK has grown into a space for dialogue between abstraction and figuration, with a strong presence at international art fairs. Aron and Merette are committed to nurturing a diverse and evolving community of artists, always looking for new ways to connect, support, and share powerful artistic voices.
